Re: Track DayNice action shots Scoobs...sharp, good focus and plenny of interest in your framing.
What is the 'new' lens? Are you a biker too? Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Re: Track DayOh I bought the sigma 120-300mm/2.8 from mitedo, one of the members on this forum. I've never own a long telephoto lens nor shot motorsport before, so I was pretty excited. Well I wouldn't call myself a biker, I haven't rode a bike for 5 years now. I found spending money on two hobbies is more than I can handle.
Re: Track DayNice shots scooby, and they do take some time to get used to using the longer lens. I would play with shutter speeds and i see in #2 the front tire is frozen which is not what you want so experiment but i shoot bikes at between 200 to 320 and no more than 500 or you will freeze the action, but practice with your shutter and you will get it down pat.
