Toolona creek circuit- OreillysI just had a week at caloundra on the sunshine coast so popped down to do a little walk around Oreilly's in Springbrook NP. Nice trip down to elabana falls and the toolona creek circuit.
What do you think of the mossy branch foreground- my wife thought it must have been unavoidable and laughed when i said i had to wade in to get it in the foreground! click for larger with 100mm macro at 2.8- i like the shallow DOF any feedback welcome Robert

Re: Toolona creek circuit- OreillysRobert,
great part of the world you managed to get to. #1 - I do like the branch in the shot but I find you still have to much empty space in front of it. For me, I would crop it just below the branch. #2, really like this one, well done. #3 - sorry, doesn't do anything for me #4 - I also like but I find it tilts CCW. It may be an illusion but that the way I see it Did you have a polariser for these? When I do waterfalls with wet rocks, I find that a polariser gives me a different result. Great dedication to wade in for the shot Cheers, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Re: Toolona creek circuit- OreillysNumber one is a cracker shot
The branch makes the shot, it is the first thing I noticed and is the sharpest detail of the photograph. Love the way the light (waterfall reflection) plays across the still pool Waz whizzzz, there goes life again.....
But now captured on a Canon 40D with bits http://www.flickr.com/photos/wazonthehill/
