I just had a week at caloundra on the sunshine coast so popped down to do a little walk around Oreilly's in Springbrook NP. Nice trip down to elabana falls and the toolona creek circuit.
What do you think of the mossy branch foreground- my wife thought it must have been unavoidable and laughed when i said i had to wade in to get it in the foreground!

Robert,

great part of the world you managed to get to.

#1 - I do like the branch in the shot but I find you still have to much empty space in front of it. For me, I would crop it just below the branch.

#2, really like this one, well done.

#3 - sorry, doesn't do anything for me

#4 - I also like but I find it tilts CCW. It may be an illusion but that the way I see it :D

Did you have a polariser for these? When I do waterfalls with wet rocks, I find that a polariser gives me a different result.

Great dedication to wade in for the shot

Cheers,

André

Number one is a cracker shot
The branch makes the shot, it is the first thing I noticed and is the sharpest detail of the photograph.
Love the way the light (waterfall reflection) plays across the still pool
