I went out to the park to take some photos for an article on low level shooting for my blog, so thought I'd share a couple. Those interested can see more shots and read the article here.

Thanks for these. They are beautiful examples of practical use for the low level technique that you describe..

Lovely selection of shots, super sharp nicely saturated. #2 is my favourite.

They are lovely. Great DOF. Number 2 looks like a cartoon character! :)

I love the birds, esp #1.

Did you blur the fore- and backgrounds?

Cheers
Steffen.

Great shots,
super smooth OOF/bokeh- the blur is in itself is almost foreground/background interest.

These are really great shots, and I thoroughly enjoyed your article. I have been trying shooting from a low angle recently, and found that it invariably gives more interesting photos. You've inspired me to get even lower!

Thanks for the kind replies. It's good to know the article was well recieved and has given some inspiration as that is always the idea when I write that sort of thing.

With regards to blurring the fore and backgrounds, thats just part of the effect you get from using this technique and one of the reasons I enjoy doing it :D

Clean, sharp and uncluttered. Simple works well.
