I had to make a quick trip over to NZ... so I took my camera as you do when hopping over the Tasman

on the spur of the moment I decided to turn off the main road to see what could be seen...

while standing in the middle of the road taking the above I turned to my right...

Back on the main road entering another small town...

Again on the spur of the moment I turned left up a side road...

Hi Keith

I like them all, although there is a suggestion of heavy processing about them. The old engineering shop could do with a little less darkness and more detail in the stuff around the front.
The first is really good.

Very nice photos, definitely magical...

Maybe a little less vignetting would be better, as the photos do come off a bit dark..

I do like the first one! as with doors, roads leading off into the distance never seem to lose their appeal, the really contrasty lines of the road and the mood work well - something I expect to see on the cover of a DVD for a horror movie :D

I reckon it's nigh on impossible to take a bad shot of anything in NZ, it's such a photogenic place. But still, your images are gorgeous. Makes me want to go back over there again.
