This ship (the Silver Shadow) is currently moored at the Overseas Terminal near Circular Quay.

They are great images, Peter. I really like the 2nd and last ones for their composition and quality of light. Where these taken late afternoon?

Thanks
Alex

Alex, the shadows on these indicate early morning.

Thanks Gary. I don't know which way the sun in Sydney is :-)

My pleasure, Alex.

In this image, we are on the northern side of the harbour, looking south; the shadows are falling from the left to the right in the image, indicating that the sun is in the east.

As Gary has deduced these images were taken early morning (a little before 8 am - the exif is out by 1 hour). I've taken shots in this general area a few times at that time of the morning and the light there and around Circular Quay is just magic (and there are very few people to obscure the images)
