I agree, it would have been better to have all of the pylons in, however, I had to compromise between the shot as presented, stepping back to expand the view but contend with getting some of the bow of the ferry in the shot or do this but crop more of the foreground. This shot, I believe, is my best compromise. (Or, I should just get the 14-24!) Fortunately, this was taken on a full-frame camera!

I've taken thousands of shots of the Axa building and yet never thought to do something like #2. Your use of negative space and the blown out sky really make for an interesting image. I like the sens of scale you got in the last image too by getting up close.
