I'm a big kid now.Hi

Re: I'm a big kid now.Numbers 2 & 3 are really nice, intimate portraits. The DOF on the first is very effective.

Re: I'm a big kid now.Alicia,
The first one is very good. In the third, are you able to lighten Alex's face a little? I feel that it's just a nudge too dark and a reflector in front of his face (but out of camera view) would have been very helpful here. g.

Re: I'm a big kid now. Thanks for your comments.
I should be able to dodge/burn a little Gary. (I forget which way it is!) I'll have a go a bit later today and post it. The light in that room was beautiful, I just couldn't get him facing me....toddlers, what do you do with them!
Re: I'm a big kid now.
May I suggest a honey-soy marinade, overnight in the fridge, and then bbq till a dark gold colour. Oh yes; you would dodge, in a proper darkroom. I'll duck. g.

Re: I'm a big kid now.Alicia,
I like all of them and I have a feeling that Patrick is about to be surpassed or has been already Chris

Re: I'm a big kid nowI've dodged a little on the face Gary. Very quickly done. It may have lost a little from it?
Anyway, was fun to do.
Re: I'm a big kid now.I think that's better.
But that's only my opinion. g.

Re: I'm a big kid now.Gorgeous, I can't believe how big he's grown!
Re: I'm a big kid now.Thanks.
Oh Gary, I forgot to say that we've decided to try a ginger and sesame marinade, the soy honey doesn't appeal. Yes, he is all grown up!
