growing on the car door

I noticed this growing on the car door
I find it amazing that anything can grow here
and indeed how anything so fragile can survive the forces of airflow while driving

Looks like your car has reach its maturity, hair is growing under its arms... :biglaugh:

Hey Sevencolours - they are actually the eggs of the lacewing .. the eggs are laid on stalks, which ensure that the newly hatched lacewing larvae don't eat eachother straight away ;) ... have a look here ... http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane ... index.html

Didn't realise this was a sign of maturity :rotfl2:

Since I found out it's eggs I find it a bit disgusting....
