Taking on a suggestion from the previous round, not quite feeling BW was completely the way to go but, for a first I tried de-saturation, not really sure if it achieves that...medieval era but...

Check out where the broken lance ends up here...ouch for the horsey.. I have another great one with the lance end sliding past the riders neck also!

Shiney, shiney armour, methinks this is chromed, did they really have chroming back then?

yep, they are bull horns... :)

Did anyone else end up there this year?

I really like the desat look of the first one. Looks like it was an interesting day.

I Really like the change especially #1 , I'd even try it a bit more grungy
mind you the origionals were excellent but think this give more ambiance

I am amazed at how adjusting the level of saturation (down) can really change the way an image looks and feels - probably bleeding obvious to those who have used it before but its great when you find a new little technique like this which you can apply to a certian picture.

ta for comments DebT and Marvin, I will try the extra grunge and see how that looks...

Looks like it was an interesting day.

yeah it was pretty neat, I will definitely get there next year

I like number 1 pp especially. Wow, looks like a great day. Maybe we need to organise a carload next year.
