Ok so I finally got around to taking the new camera out for something other than a test shot. So this is effectivally the first shot with the new 50D. Got to say its a lot better than the old 350D, not that the 350D is a shit camera, but you know what I mean. I am very happy with the results I have had from the 50D so far. Holy crap! I really like this, I'm interested to see what it looks in colour, but I doubt it will be as striking as your black and white. The shame, texture and lighting are all great, and the clouds and to the mood and drama as well.
My only suggestion would be to have a little bit of free space above the top peak, give it a little room to breath, so to speak.

The photo was taken at Black Rock (Moon Bay) Were the Cerberus is.

I like this. Such a contrasty image, defining the features worn by the elements over time.
