Posted: Sun May 10, 2009 2:45 amCongratulations. I really like the black and white ones, particularly the 2nd. Did you lighten the shadows a little where the hands meet? It seems a bit more grainy than the rest of the picture. I would perhaps crop off some of the adult's hand to focus more on the baby holding the thumb. I like the interaction between the mum(?) and the baby in the first.

Posted: Mon May 11, 2009 12:40 amI bounced the flash off the ceiling and the lower part of the fingers are in shadow, so I lightened the image to bring them up, and lost some impact. Still learning the intricacies of photoshop.
