Great shots. My preference is for the third - I really like the composition.

For the first, part of me is wanting less identifcation of what it is - that is, a shot which gives less away that it is the SOH than the crop you have. Not sure if you can (or want to) achieve this with a crop?

composition on this fugly building was hard - for me anyway, I tried up on the hill (on the path) just in the royal botanical gardens and thought it would be the best place but the fence is to high and the gaps too small :|

Additionally, i always felt i was too close or too far away :cough:

This will be a great event to allow people to show their creativity. Nice colours in these photos..
