Its been along time since I have visited the centrepoint tower in Sydney since my last visit prices have doubled and the lifts are still as slow 8)

However it was an interesting experience and i think even with a fisheye lens you would not get it all in from up there

Here are a few images from my visit on the weekend - there was also some interesting light with the approaching rain clouds. If you have the time, I recommend getting up there - even if its only once in your life

(spot the ufo's)

Very nice Biggerry, its alot different to even Google maps isn't it? Didn't know they allowed cameras up there - as with the Harbour Bridge they don't allow loose objects due to the danger of them fallin.

I thought I aw a UFO as well - but I musta been abducted, mind probed and my memory erased (would explain alot)... thankfully all orifices are untouched!

Nice work Biggerry!
I thought you were inside for these shots as if you look carefully in the first shot you can see a reflection of someone's body on the far right. The pics are very clear with a surprisingly low amount of visable air pollution, must have been a windy day? I'd suggest de-fishing that 2nd last last shot, to me it just looks weird, but that could also appeal to some I guess :).

Thanks for sharing.

no problems with cameras up there imagine all the tourist who would be pi$$ed if they could not take their happy snaps!

:rotfl2:

yeah there are a few ufos in the ones I captured

reflection of someone's body on the far right.

I thinks its the reflection of the nearby windows even with the hood on and the polarizer you had to pick your compositions carfeully to aviod/minimise the reflections.

surprisingly low amount of visable air pollution

yeah surprisely clear - i was definitely impressed!

I assume you mean the second last - the one with the MLC building. This distortion is what happens when you try and stitch a few pictures together at 17 mm  I really love the sky in that one, so I was trying to save it!

ta cam,

1st image was 3 shots, side by side

2nd and 3rd images were 4 shots vertically

and the last one i think was 3 images side by side.

I do have some other super dooper sized ones with 6 images but have not yet got to them!

In 2 and 3 I was mainly trying to replicate what one sees out of a single window.
