Vivid Sydney - DSLR meet - My takeYes, we were lucky with the weather and sunset. Yes, I took all the cliche'd shots of the sails. Yes, they didn't turn out that well. Yes, VIVID was VIVIDLY overrated. Yes, it was cool meet y'all.

Re: Vivid Sydney - DSLR meet - My takeI very much like the last of these images. It's very different, and a very effective presentation.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Vivid Sydney - DSLR meet - My takeThanks guys for your comments.
Snooted flash is an addiction currently. I think photoaffinity has taken it to the next level with with strobe on a stick concept. I might post a couple of snooted flash shots next...
Re: Vivid Sydney - DSLR meet - My takenice images, i like the second one, it's a great use of the off camera flash and it's very well balanced. colour and exposure are great.
Re: Vivid Sydney - DSLR meet - My take#1 is the clear standout for me, love the HDR tones
-#2 is cool too, given the inclusion of the photographer to add some further interest.
