I took this portrait and I decided to turn it into something different. What do you think?

I'll be honest. Both images, on their own are lovely. The colour one has a film quality to it and would make a lovely print. I like the B&W conversion. However, together, I don't think they work. I can't quite explain why, but I think it detracts from the qualities of the individual photos.

Thank you Patrik. I am not sure if it does myself and I have had so far different opinions from friends that have seen it. I made two versions for the parents of the child one in colour and another in black and white but I then I thought a combination of the two would be a different appoach.
