Hello, I am posting a picture from my first wedding shoot, it is a photo of my precious daughter, she loves having her picture taken (i only hope that it remains that way) and posed perfect for this shot. CC most welcome.
Bellow it is a shot of the bride and groom i took as well. CC also welcome on this one!! would love to see this one on canvas maybe??
Thanks for looking!

The picture of your daughter is beautiful, great expression and eye contact. I would try to make the background more even - the dress on the right and the red dress above her hair detract from her a little bit. The second shot is also nice.

yeah, thanks i agree about the background, it made it very difficult to take great shots, as it was in an old farmhouse with very very little room to move, and the mother of bride ended up in so many shots, it was like she wanted her face in all the photo's!! lol well in this case her dress!! hehehhe
Thanks, will keep an eye out in future reference for the background etc.

What a great expression on your little one! Top notch.
For the second photo, I would try to warmify the colours on their skins. The background is too warm. Maybe you could coolify the background but this may make the image less romantic...

One issue I have with #1 is that you are looking down at her. Would it not be better to get down to her level, and take her at eye level?

Mr Darcy, i did take a shot at a lower level, but when i reviewed the shots this shot seemed to show some innosence and kind of to me made her look like a little princess where as the lower shot made her look tall etc, so as her mum i liked to keep her looking as young as possible, i don't know where the last 5 years have gone but i don't want to think of her any older then what she is! hehehe, silly reason, but yeah thats why i picked the higher angle shot!
Aim - This shot was taken a few weeks back in May, before a lot of the clarity issues came to head, i took this shot using MF if i remember rightly....so i love it as i don't usually shoot MF!!

While I tend to agree with Mr Darcy that it's a good idea to shoot children at eye level, sometimes shooting down on them imparts a fragility that can be endearing. In this case I think you first image works beautifully. The second image works too and both images are improved by the warm tones.
