went down for a walk around the foreshore late this morning and was well rewarded with different bird species feeding....... all shot with D300 50-500 Sigma 1.4 KenkoTC. Focus can be a little fussy but well worth the extra reach on small birds

I know that first bird, he (if it is indeed a 'he') was down on the Georges River wading in mud puddles two weeks ago when I caught him on camera. Obviously he just loves being snapped. Pity the rock is just a bit too close behind him, otherwise a really nice shot.
