I think these three images do.

There's a triptych looking for a printer.

I think these three images do.

:agree:

I feel the last could benefit from being a fraction wider, but nonetheless still good. They are all really nice and sharp and with well chosen dof.

He needs his teeth brushed!

and what a set of teeth it is  no wonder these bad boys cleanup humans in africa!

I agree with Gary and Gerry.

Perhaps try B&W triptych. Colour is not adding a whole lot to this picture.

Holy carp, I didn't think these boys were human eaters! We should be glad that we just have crocs.

They are not man eaters, but if you are stupid enough to annoy them they will take a chunk out of you.

Great shots...these would make a nice series!

Thanks everyone
Chica, At about 1:30 on Sundays (if there is a photography class going) they feed the hippos carrots, hay on the bank, then finish with a Hippo Mouth Wash - unfortunately I had too much lens but will find out from Lindsay (who does the courses) when it's on next and let you know
Shot these with the 70-200 F2 with 1.4 ..so exif for these shots ISO 320, 1/200 F4 @180 but it was quite dark and overcast at the time.
they love the squirt with a hose

I've been on one of those photo classes. I didn't find the class that great, but those hippos sure can open their mouths.
