SS DickyMy take on the shots that BobG and I got last night. Click for larger.
This does not have the detail of Bob's and has a lot of noise but I like the mood, the halo around the moon and the sky. Something a bit different. The presetup test shot, or the crap I started with before pp. Just playing with a Photoshop plugin. Craig
Lifes journey is not to arrive at our grave in a well preserved body but, rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "Wow what a ride." D70s, D300, 70-300ED, 18-70 Kit Lens, Nikkor 105 Micro. Manfrotto 190Prob Ball head. SB800 x 2.
Re: SS DickyTechinically difficult shot! did you take multi exposures? Bob must have used a neutral density filter.
I do like the mood here though...
Re: SS DickyThe first is very nice and by far the best.
Re: SS DickyThe first reminds me of monsters teeth, and I don't mind the noise I think it works in context.
In the pano, I'd like a tad bit more sky.
Re: SS DickyThanks for the comments guys.
I am going to try some different pp with the second one later next week when I have some free time. Craig

Re: SS DickyI really like the first!!! I love the colours and the whole 'feel' of the image...the lighting makes it seem surreal in some respects.
The daylight shot is rather plain and snapshot like IMHO. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. Cameron
