A shot of my son at QR on Monday, we went to a Stay Upright Performance & Suspension course. I sat out the last session so I could get a couple of shots.

D300, 105VR, 320 @f7.1 200iso Hand held.
Click photo for the full size version, with bugs. :D only 267kb
I cannot put my finger on why iam not entirely happy with the shot. In pp I did levels, slight crop, sharpen and converted to a low res jpeg. Give me your thoughts.

I quite like this shot...the only two problems are....THE BIKE IS NOT RED AND NOT A DUCATI!!!

It is great, sharp and dynamic!

Really nice. The only very slight criticism I could have is that your eye is slightly distracted by the white blur top right. Pretty impossible to take this sort of image into account in a panning picture like this though. I agree, a duck would have been much better, but I love the signature tag.

Try some extra motion blur to see whether that makes you happy....

I am pretty happy as it is however. Maybe ever so slightly cooler...

Thanks for the comments guys. Sometime in the next few days I am going to try and tidy up some of the background, play with shadows/highlights, maybe cool it down a bit and add a tad of saturation. I will have to check out the motion blur option as well. I will repost once done. It was late in the day with the light harsh and warm.
