WOW very nice work there!

I have to admit that the timber shed does nothing for me, BUT the other three photos are amazing!

I love #4, the motion is frozen and the detail is amazing! The eagle almost looks like it is smiling for the camera!

the light in the first shot is just sublime. beautiful shot mate.

Hope it was a great trip.
as always excellent shots but #4 is my pick and an interesting exposure on the sky . The colours in #1 are beautiful very rich and deep

The first is interesting, I can see why people would like it, however for me, with the sunset behind it and the lighting on the scuplture, it does not feel quite right - however, I will look again in a few days and it may grow on me, as many images do! Also take my op. with a grain of salt!

The eagle shots, at least on my monitors, look like the sky is alittle over exposed, I imagine this was necessary to get that detail on the shadowed underside of the dark wings, however I did have a quick PP to see how they would look with the sky adjusted, if you have any issues with ur images being PP or don't want them up just let me know and i will remove asap.

However, let me know what you think and nonetheless the shots are great action captures of these stunners...

I am not sure the extra processing has made a positive - the haloing in the second is distracting. I think I will leave them as they are...

That's the challenge of DSLR photography- dark subjects that need lots of detail on light backgrounds too far away to strobe. Or am I just ignorant of the simple trick to get around this issue?
The eagle shots are beautiful- full of power and dignity. Really nice.

Ian you are correct - some try and use a better beamer but I am not sure they would even be enough over this distance and as one of our members knows they are a hazard if you catch the sun with one attached.
