Some of the shots lack punch for me (they're a little too ordinary) - an example is #2. The third one is way better - a really well done candid. Others that grabbed me are the 7th, 8th and 9th ones you've listed here. The ninth being by far the best. I like the shadow, the angle and the fact you got the guns firing (shame about the lens flare  )

For me image 12 on your web site (men on horses) is good too.

And one final comment. Having gone through all the shots - it must have been a very cold day!

Rich - you have captured the day perfectly. My favourites are 3416, 3610, 3650 (great expression) and 3722.

It’s always great to see people from a world away - you have the cold and we have the heat :D

Thanks guys, they're pretty much all just snapshots, but it was a real pleasure shooting them.

This is the first 'event' I've gotten to shoot outside with the D70 and I'm simply blown away. The cam is soo fast. . especially with the IF kit lens. . . I got EVERY shot I wanted. I never 'waited' for the cam to hunt for focus like my old dimage 7i. I ended up shooting over 300 pics!!!
