Those do look pretty extra-ordinary to me!!!

Love the motion that has been captured in these.

Nice shots Jim, love the energy and the backgrounds are nice an unobtrusive. Only thing I'd do is clone out the whit spot on the eye in 1 & 2 - only because it looks a bit strange on 1 eye only
#3 is my pick

Love the 1st and last.

I would like to see the last without the frame and desat... I think it will be less distracting. It may work as a straight BW as well.

#1 is teh pick, just a shame the dog isnt focussed. really like #2 aswell. it shows a joyful happy-go-lucky expression...if thats at all possible.

Really nice shot. Having a light coloured dog sure helps. My pup is black with some black highlights- not an easy one to snap well. I also like the last one- It's full of energy and fun (I'd also like to see it without the frame though).

You have to love the quality of the afternoon light this time of year - so easy to get those lovely colours without having to wait till 6 or later. The dogs look like they are having such a good time.

JIm,

Now that is seriously good shot of Nelson, lighting -> action -> sharpness :)

Much better without internal framing.
