3 pics Not Bikes!!

Well i attened a workshop that was run down here and a fellow from Melbourne called Tony Ryan came over with a model and we did some pics using just natural light. There was about 10 of us and trying to get shots in between everyone was a problem at times as she was nude in a lot of the shots so i put the 300m on the D2x as didn't have the D3 then but was very challenging in a darkish warehouse but i like this shot. The male model was a local lad who had never done anything like this before.Using light from the windows.
Image
This shot was when i got the D3 and put the plastic fantastic 50 1.8 on at where i spend a lot of my time on the weekends fishing.

This shot same setup only 30klms up the coast a bit.

I really like the second one John. In the first one, the lady's skin looks a little strangely coloured (on my monitor anyway). Nice to see some different shots from you!

I quite like the first one.

I would have preferred softer more directional lighting on the girl (perhaps from camera right). To get a little mystery, it would be better to have the guy quite dark so that his features are hard to see. this would solve the skin colour differences between the two. The rim light is nice as is. I do realise that you had to work with the available light but, just some suggestions for you to consider.

Thanks, yes there was a light there a very bright one and well thanks for sugestions as i am not sure if i will get the chance to do this sort of stuff again for awhile, as i do have lots of shots from this shoot but something different for me. LOL

Marvin your right there is a bit of a tone there of her skin i guess from the light and the blue background was natural light coming from a window as this was shot in a warehouse.

I agree maybe that the skin colour has a slight green tinge, but those eyes- I just love them- they just jump off the page. as also mentioned the rim lighting really works well also. The other shots are really nice also, but the first has a quality to it- it's very different and looks like it could mean a lot to the two subjects- they must be a couple?
