Painting a car - Mustang 66 (Have another look Gerry!)

My favourites from a very successful minimeet!

Thanks for photopotamus and Jeremy for supplying a better than average car!

TEchnically these don't seem to be a very difficult to take but, it's hard to accurately reproduce the colours of the car. This may have to do with my white balance and it would have been good to have a gray card or something to keep colours true. But then, is there an inherent digital vs red problem?

CnC appreciated...

nice shots there...I think I spent too much time chatting with people and not enough time experimenting with different angles....

Cameron, I'll bring some gaffa tape for the airplane mini meet! Otherwise we'll never get any photography done!

I do agree about not taking too many shots! I was shocked to find out that I only took 42 shots!!! Meaning of life... I wonder what that means... ? :chook:

gaffa tape :) yep that has multiple uses

Surenj, that side on profile shot is heaps better than my attempt, it was quite hard to aviod those reflection at that angle, you have done well on this one.

s there an inherent digital vs red problem?

It is interesting to see the different colours between the cameras and images posted!

Nice work with #2! I have looked at all the red car images posted so far and this image is the one I like best.

Gerry, I was obscuring the potential reflections by having myself inbetween the softbox and the camera. I did get the odd reflection from the boats and what not...

In all honesty I think Gerry had the best photos. 8)

I suppose it was worth almost getting run over by the coppers!

Thanks Matt for your comments.

Cameron picked up an anomaly in my photos. Interesting that no one else who attended picked this up...

at the very least you could have got some good compo claims on it  I reckon that side on shot is very nice, quite a bit harder, technically speaking, that the typcial 3/4 shots...

In all honesty I think Gerry had the best photos.

that means a lot!
