Here's a slightly cliched picture of our new daughter, Sarah. She was born last week, weighing in at a tad under 4kg.



The image was taken with Sarah (1 week old) on a Jetstar blanket on our lounge room floor. Light source was the sun through slightly tinted windows. No backdrop used.

C&C appreciated as usual.

Beautiful shot Geoff, I can't really criticise it as I think it's pretty good already.
Perhaps have a go at increasing the contrast a TAD and see how it looks. Just increase it so that you lose the creases in the material...

I like this one, maybe crop it a little to get rid of some of the black but not to much. How did you get the background so black???

To answer you question Craig, the light was quite bright so my shutter speed was quite high, so that made the background dark. A bit like a reverse silhouette. Also had a fiddle in lightroom with curves and a vignette.
