Spitfeuer!!!!!

I was incredibly lucky recently and was able to organise a shoot with one of Australias two flying spitfires, both at the Temora Air Museum. The staff were great, and assisted me, MattyO and Michael_ a huge amount.
The shoot was for the Australian Kidney Foundation, and featured the highest fundraisers of the Kidney Kar Rally, which this year raised over $500,000.
The aircraft is worth about $4,000,000
1. Old Warrior at sunset
2. At the going down of the sun....
3. Me, hamming it up in the cockpit. I was nervous as hell climbing into it!
4. Our basic setup. 2 Alien Bees and a ringlight, MAttyO up a cherry picker, lights powered by inverter from a deep cycle battery. THe final image requires PP to remove shadows, which were impossible to avoid to to major timing constraints. All in all though, a very successful shoot. (forgive my shadow, shot is just to show you the setup).
