First weekend with new 300mm lens - #3 - Snow Leopard

Normally the big cats just lie there and sleep, making for rather boring photos. I got lucky, with a pose straight down the barrel of the lens.
D300, AF-S 300mm.

nice and sharp there! A bit more eye contact would have been nice but I guess you get what you can if you want to see the rest of the zoo!

I figure that's pretty much as good as it gets from one of the big cats at the zoo!!
So inconsiderate.. How dare they just lie there and sleep all day with no consideration for us photographers..

Very nice, i love how the front legs are straight on to the camera leading you.
Is this Taronga you'r talking about? Arrgh Brisbane zoos suck lol... Other than a couple of Tigers, there are zero big cats readily on display in the whole state!
