First weekend with new 300mm lens - #5 - Great GrabAs with my last post, anticipation and timing are everything when photographing marks in AFL footy. Too often I'll find myself watching the action and thinking "gee that one would have made a great shot". If you aren't already swinging the lens around to the leading forward BEFORE the midfielder has even kicked it, you're going to be too late.

Re: First weekend with new 300mm lens - #5 - Great GrabThanks aim54x - I intend to enjoy the lens!! I am rapt that it's worth the money I paid for it (just a tick over $3000 including shipping and GST).. Sure a brand new 300 VR would be brilliant, but I can't see it being worth over double the cost!!
