An afternoon out

This afternoon I decided to get off my proverbial and shoot some frames the weather was stormy and windy but none the less I had a fantastic time and got some pretty decent stuff. Exif is attached mixed bodies to test out my new/old toy D2Hs, but lens was 120-300 F2.8 sigma with sigma 1.4x converter.

I need to get of my butt and post here more for those interested I post a lot more on my BLOG you can sign up there for e-mail updates on my work.

A couple of birds, I carry a field guide with me but am terrible at ID's

And some really nice light in the creek with my 24-70

That fourth one is great, amazing light, I also quite like the first, if only the little guy was looking back at the camera :up:

whilst the eye contact is not perfect, it still a damn good shot, better than the other, buts that my opinion :cheers:

great stuff there! I really like the birds! You have really managed to isolate them and make them stand out.
