I want a 24-70

Geoff very kindly lent me his 24-70 - ok, it was at the AW dinner so his judgement may have been a little affected.
Anyway, time has prevented me from using it as much as I would like, but here is one of Thomas that I liked. The sharpness beats that of the 85 1.4 at about f8.
C&C, particularly relating to the processing, would be appreciated
Actually, I will go first: I am not comfortable with the composition - it seems boring and unbalanced. I have tried a square crop, but I believe the placement of Thomas' eyes in the image are problematic. Still, the facial expression overcomes that, for mine anyway.
