My grey gull takes the dim leagues with fearful eye

....... nice series..... the second is the stand out for me, and the Gulls are also special

I like the third image, maybe cropping the top dead space off might help? that and a bit of bumped contrast would have me sold i reckon.

I like the the layers in this image, street level, advert level and transport level, whilst not a conventional way to lead the eye into an image, I think it works quite well and find myself drawn from the lower part of the image thru to the top...am spinning BS here? just thinking out aloud

I think the standout is the 2nd image!!
With some careful PS work, I think it'd be even better with the adult's head removed from behind the near silhouette of the kids.

Very interesting set of images there Matt. I am drawn to those gulls, that photo is unlike anything I have seen.

Love all four, but #3 is my favourite.

Actually looking at this again;

What do you think about leaving the shutter open for longer on the 3rd. The train and the cars would be light trails, and pedestrians more of a blur. That would really set the mood for this area.

Thanks for your comments folks! You might be interested to know that the seagull shot was exposed using fill flash giving the gulls a little more detail on the underside. Surenji...I like your idea and will attempt it next time I'm in the location. I will need to use a tripod which wasn't used for the posted image.
