That bee-eater is going to become vain I think
Re: Birds in the misty raindeb i think they look awesome. were you going for BIF shots or did it just work out that way ?

Re: Birds in the misty rainRooz,
Movement very intentional - trying to catch them as they take off but missing the sharp focus on the eyes so more practice needed ...but it's a start. Thanks Kevin DebT DebT

When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
Re: Birds in the misty rainI have to buck the trend a little here, #1 is nice, but there is too much motion in that bird on the right, however #3 is a beautiful image. Great stuff there Deb!

Re: Birds in the misty rainThe last is great Deb. At this size the eyes are fine.
Very hard for the camera to focus when object moving toward you I think. Nice work. Regards Colin
Cameras, lenses and a lust for life
Re: Birds in the misty rainThe first one is lovely! Love how the bird is blurred.
The last is one also great bar the mild softness... The middle one is the weakest- I don't like the pose - it's not flattering even for a scavenger bird.
Re: Birds in the misty rainAs with the later replies I really like the last image- everything's a mass of movement except for the head which looks steady as a rock- nice work.
Re: Birds in the misty rainBoth #1 and #3 work for me. I love the movement and the smeared colours. #2 lacks impact because of the fussy background. Nice work!
Regards
