Very Miami Vice Redline, like the stark elements.

ps there will be a lot of disappointed people not seeing your trademark tilt

redline - I like. My only suggestion is that sometimes a frame, especially a bold one, detracts from the effect.

Something else I have just thought of, and relates to Glen’s challenge shot, are guns, being sinister, look good when shot in a moody dark shot with highlights.

Love them being straight

Yes, good thought process, nicely shot. :)
I agree with Chris about the frames - these are too wide and detract from the images.

The first shot, in particular, makes me think of someone who has just come home from work, emptied their pockets and dumped all the contents on the table, and then headed to the kitchen for a drink…

I wonder if perhaps a more haphazard / scattered composition would seem less posed/ set up? (Especially the cartridges…. ) That would just be a variation on a theme, though – nice work.

Hey redline,

I like the Second Frame around it, makes it look very arty farty to me.

But that is just me, I'm a bit of an Arty Farty type of person I think.

My Farzshurrrr was an Art Director for one of the biggest Ad Agencies in Melbourne many moons ago.

Nice, a lot of thought have gone into these.

Cheers,

Mic.

Thanks the comments guys. I really need more practice with lighting still life stuff, First time i used 3 lights to light the scene with.
I thought i would use my old ray bans to add the 80's feel to it.
and the playstation gun to give it a fututic look and the metal bg was a nice under the contrasting lights.
My teacher was accusing me of being a murderer when i pulled the second laser sighted gun out to shoot with.

are you guys referring to the frame as in the sunglasses or the bg metal i stole off someone eles.?
