Top shots Virgs. Did you use your new lens for these? How are the muscles from carting it everywhere?

Nice set of shots that captures the range of experiences - great captures.
Especially like the night cowboy, sensational job getting the flaming whip - but the bike is sharp as especially over the distance at night

Great job!

I'm surprised no-one's yet mentioned the stunnng fashions being displayed in #4: ugg boots and matching tracksuit pants! Last time I saw that was probably at the Melbourne Show. ;)

Not to mention the "Shit, I think I'm about to throw up!" pose on the model on the left. :)

I love the first of these Tony. Great exposure control; this was not an easy image to get.

The rest aren't too bad either.

Based on what I saw in Adelaide a few weeks ago, that is the norm. It's called, 'Dressing up to go out.' :)

To the images; Lovely examples of photography. The timing on the first and last two images are fantastic. Awesome use of available light too. Great work.

Marvin, yes hand held the 400 for 9 hours and it does get heavy. Funny though, now the 100-400 feels and looks like a straw compared to it. The fist and third shot were at 3200 ISO at f2.8 and this is where this lens really shines - has no problems with focus in low light and the ability to keep tracking as the objects are moving means a great deal more keepers than the 100-400. I have not used the flash at all when using this lens.

*drools*

The first and third images are amazing, the dude on the bike, or should say, flying with the bike, is an absolute stunner. great composition and the stark black background is perfect.

The second image brings new meaning to the term 'nipple cripple'...

top stuff...
