Nice and simple, but I like the colours and depth of field.

While the technical aspects are excellent (control of flare etc), I feel that this image is lacking something. perhaps it's the reflections on the water, I am not sure.

........ do you get reflections on the water when the sun is below the horizion....... lucky to even get any colour in the water..........
would like to see a few of your sunsets

I also like the simplicity, but feel there is too much in the middle between the horizon and the waves/beach in the foreground. I appreciate there isn't a lot you can do about it, but my opinion nevertheless.

I think a tighter crop with the sun as the main subject would be the way to go, there probably is not a great deal detail to recover from the shadows so working on the sun would be the best way.
would like to see a few of your sunsets
that there sound like fightin' words!
