Free as a bird, tied to the ground

Two very different shots from the weekend. To see either larger just click the pic.
For this shoot my intention was to take my 70-200 VR lens to get some nice close shots of the hangdliders, but stupid me left it at home so I was restricted to the 28-70. This first image is the closest I could get which annoyed me greatly. That said I like the simplicity of this image
This second shot is one I'd never have managed without Gerry showing me one of his on the day and telling me where he went to get it (thanks Gerry). This one was taken with my 17-35 lens.
