Been wanting to go to the homestead for ages. It was not to bad a day in canberra but it was wet and cloudy there but was able to get a few shots before it rained. Will have to go back another day.

Tony

That looks a spot with a lot of potential. I'll be interested to see what you get on your next visit.

Of these I really like #2 - very creatively framed without being too forced.

I like the last one. The sky adds a lovely contrast and the green grass is great.

Tony,

Very nice, and the weather has actually helped you quite a bit with great colour saturation in these images.

The first and the third work very well for me. While I understand what you're trying to do with the second, I think that there is too much complexity within the tree branches, and this spoils the effect for me.

For me #2 then #3
Perhaps @2 would have been even better if the branches were in silhouette
I love the way the mist is spilling over the hill in #3

:agree:

:agree:

maybe two steps forward would have sorted that out, made the whole house visible and only a single lot of branches as a frame?

The first has nice angles, very classic style composition for this type of scene. Was there any thought of BW conversion for these images - i think more than one would really shine in BW.

Return at late evening with a flash light and some coloured gels.......

Also agree about the first one in BW. Suits the subject well.
