We've been away for the last week, a relaxing (if not cold and wet) week in Ballarat. Not much to say about that, other than it was a break all three of us needed :)

On 'the way home' we detoured a little to Phillip Island yesterday - here's a few I'm particularly happy with...

(worth clicking for the bigger view - extremely happy with these last two)

Never been to the track there before - it's not a bad one to walk around, with plenty of spots to watch the action - even a few areas where you can see many parts of the track at once. It's also surprising in how much it changes height throughot - something you don't get a real feel for on the box (TV or Playstation ;) ).

Very impressed with Casey - he's really attacking the track, perhaps moreso than Rossi. We'll see in a few hours who's the quickest :)

Leon, man!!!
These shots are fantastic! All 3 bike shots are wickedly awesome and could sell quite easily given the right marketing, although I guess all the sports journos were there. You should be proud mate...good stuff and something out of the ordinary from you, I'm surprised you didn't try and sneak in a dirty/mudd 4WD shot! :D

Well captured and good panning skills. I would have loved to be there. You are right about Casey, he certainly proved a point on Sunday.

Wow Leon! These are absolutely brilliant! You have the panning down pretty well.

Maybe the WB needs cooling a little though.

I agree with the comments above. Those last two really are very good. I notice a nice sun-glare effect on the windshield bit of the bike on the third image too. Makes it look really cool.
