Here's a couple of mine from this morning. Conditions were not great and this was the best I could pull out of the images.

Andrew I think the first one may benefit from a BW conversion. I think you might be able to pull some detail from the clouds as well.

Andrew, I'd like to see the second one with the bottom third cropped off, I think the pano crop would suit it.

I'll give you 10 out of 10 just for getting up that early. :)

Both images look a little flat and 2 dimensional. I think with a bit of tweaking you can get them looking good.

Hi Andrew looks like you may have done the best with the light on offer I would try again with #2 as it is close to something special, potential with the sun highlights in he backround and mist in the valley, and yes maybee a pano will help--jim

Thanks for the comments.

This was the first image "straight out of the camera" - shot raw with default processing - so I had already done quite a lot of processing.

I bumped up the contrast - a lot - is this better?

This is the second image "straight out of the camera":

Here's a modified version - is this better?

Andrew, yes they look better. When you bumped the contrast, you have managed to get rid of some haze. Did you warmify as well?

Andrew, the pano style rework does the scene more justice, looking at the position of the sun there its a real shame it did not come good and light up the bluffs in the right. Kudos for getting up and making the effort!
