From the Snowies

An old ruin with the view from the window

I am wondering if the shot works?

I like it, but I do not love it.

Comments please.

Thanks

Hey Waz,
I would cropdown to the last brick in the top right and clone one into the little space left there.
(the light space draws the eye away from the view)
I would also try darkening the view a tad.

a shot framed by a window is typically always a winner, however I think this one needs to either be a tight crop to make the stuff 'in the window' the subject or wider to make the building the subject, my first imporession was it felt like it was in 'no mans land' composition wise...hth

:agree: with Gerry

I can't see it very well but, since the brick wall occupies significant amounts of the picture, it needs to be tack sharp.
