Are these HDR? they have a slight HDR feel to them, but I am not sure, The first and third ones are the ones that jump out for me. The first could be improved by giving it a pano crop to remove that dead space (sky and grass), also it looks a little crooked...I think as a pano this image would be very nice, you have all the key elements (sun, house and skyline) in that centre 1/3rd, migth as well make that the primary focus...

The third is a nice perspective, but I find myself trying to decide what is the primary focus, the wall or the house? I reckon if you had a 5 foot step ladder handy and just got the POV above that brick fence (whilst still keeping it in frame) it would be a cracker...

For my tastes the HDR is a bit overdone. You can see the halos around the trees and the colours are overdone imo, check out the Jacaranda as an example.

sorry, I'd be one of the lurking culprits.

The wide angle lens used has brought some strange distortion, but the colours and the processing make these very pleasing. I am with Gerry on the Pano crop for the first, and with Whitey with the overcooked HDR (that Jacaranda tree is def overcooked).

Great to see what others are doing. Keep the images coming

I have been wonderng what these images reminded me of and it just came to me.

Aged Polaroids.

Fantastic effect if that was your intention. The images remind me of photos taken in the 1970s.

Hey guys,

First of thanks for all the feedback.

None of these images are HDR in the link above their are photos that are HDR but I didn’t like them at all.
I didn’t actually think of cropping the first one but it seems like a good idea I think I might give it a shot.
I couldn’t really do much with the third one becuase i didnt have anyway of getting any higher. I wanted the wall to be the primary focus.

Although I would like to take credit for the Polaroid’s idea I and no intention on that effect at all.
