enjoy...a bit of PS CS to help this image but only with levels as the ducks where already there and I coloured the boat brown to add a bit of warmth......

Great subject, not sure about the white (blown?) area though...

Mudder, I've been ummhing and ahhhing over the same thing and wondering if it works or whether something else would work better.

Having a blue sky there might be too much blue.

I like it and don't really mind the blown area that much, but would like to see a small crop off the bottom.

I'm ambivalent about this too, but come down on the side of not liking the blown highlights because they dominate the omage so much. The subject is great and the shot could have been a good one, but for me this is one that got away.

Balance of subject and balance of color is a matter of what you like and don't like, myself I tend to agree with your comments but also a lot of people like this image as is, so therefore I am at a loss for what is right and what is wrong and tend to produce images that are a bit out of the square, by doing this I do not please everyone but this was not the object of my Photography, but to produce something different that is away from the normal and gives enjoyment to the holder of the image. I am always looking for something that is different to poke my camera at.
I cannot please all the time, but if I give pleasue some of the time with my work this gives me pleasure. I hope this helps with understanding of what I post. Love the comments
