....... great, good to see some people out and about.........
....... just shows that if you go on a picnic, it is sure to rain....
as it is also raining way down south, at a guess, my outside decks will not be sanded tomorrow....

To most a very good reason to stay at home.
I really like all the shots, as the rain adds another dimension. Well done.

Matt, the first one is awaiting a good BW conversion for it to become timeless!

So what was the outcome Matt.....is the D300 waterproof?
I too was in the city and was surprised by the number of people wandering the streets.
I took refuge in the Uproar House open day which was the first time I was able to take shots inside the building.

I would kill for rain !!!!!
Lucky buggers !
Love the first one - beautiful use of 'empty' space to give the shot more depth and meaning !!!
Hugs

These show the atmosphere, and the rain itself, really well - nicely done
Great day for a picnic!

I'm drawn to #4 for some reason, maybe it's the overall color, maybe the strength of the rain , maybe the church - not sure why but i do like it.
Thanks for reminding me there are more than suuny days to give great shots

I really like the first image with the old woman and the taxi. There seems to be a story waiting to happen there.
You certainly got a lot of rain up north. We just had drizzle.

I could have sworn I had posted a comment on this thread yesterday.
Great images there Matt K. I love the first, as a colour image, makes you realise how drab it all is, the purple of the Jacaranda would be a huge loss if it was to be processed to B&W.
Great to see someone shooting in the wet.
