Differet take on the boathouseAlmost finished processing all the shots from my quick pop over to Tassie. Still not sure on this one. This is how I framed it in camera, but I'm still trying to sell myself on the shot. I like that it's different, but something just doesn't feel 'right' to me. Not sure... perhaps it is squashed in the frame, or too noisy.... C&C definitely appreciated.

Re: Differet take on the boathouseGreat composiiton on this image in my opinion, great depth of size and perspective . The colours look at bit over cooked at my end..
gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Differet take on the boathousecheers biggery.... i'll double check the colours later... working off my laptop at the moment so hard to judge the right saturation.

Re: Differet take on the boathouse with Gerry.
It looks great with a n unusual compressed view. Even the haze seems to work however you could try and remove it to see whether it will make a difference. The colours seem ok at my end. [uncalibrated dell ultrasharp]
Re: Differet take on the boathouseNice image mark........ looks OK on my MacBook
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Re: Differet take on the boathouseThe colours dont look right here on my end (non-calibrated monitor though) but I think what your missing is a central focal point. There is a lot of depth but not much to draw the eye.
