The Jacarandas in flower are quite a spectacle...I have been meaning to snap off a few as well...maybe on a weekend soon. I really like the perspective in the last one, something original for a tree photographed so often.

Yes, me too! The intricate shadow of the tree adds a lot of interest as well.

A beautiful set of images celebrating the distinctive nature of Jacarandas in bloom. Love the first and the last.
I may be off the mark but i wonder if cloning out that rather distracting mast in the bottom left hand corner whelp that image achieve its potential? Just a thought!

These are superb #2 and #4 are the standouts for me - especially #2 since it's so hard to get a new take on the SOH.

Yes I had thought along those lines marco. If I was printing it up I would definitely remove the mast
