No Wedding PhotographerI hate wedding's and get asked a lot and refuse to do them but have done a few for close freinds. A mate who photographed speedway with film for years and i have sorted him out with digital asked if i would do the photo's for his daughter and well since a mate i said yes so last one for me. As i know it is a lot of work and pressure and my hat goes off to you all who do it, i will stick to my bikes, but anyhow here is just a few nothing stunning.
Shot with D3 and Tamron 28-75 2.8 Had to do some photoshoping with this shot as was shot in front of the Golf club where the reception was so took out the flags and buildingin the background. Cheers John BBJ D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X

You are one brave fella! I really like the posing and composition in #2. Nice use of sunlight and some 'car' fill.

I can see some ominous skies in the background! At least you could adjust quickly to the situation to make the best of it. Did you have a backup shooter? Recently a friend asked me to cover her wedding..... I am still running away from her.
Re: No Wedding PhotographerI was it, only photographer, secret is take lots of pics LOL. But as it was a mates daughter she was very happy with pics and well better than paying a few Grand, cheap for a couple of bottles of Rum
I found myself using flash all day and luckily all payed off.

Re: No Wedding Photographer
And that's all that counts in a wedding. Other things are optional.
