wow
i love how you got the lion blurry and the beautiful blue tones juxtapose the yellow nicely
and the composition of the giraffe and birds stellar

the last pic is such a moody image

tell us more about your trip

Another amazing set from that trip of yours Marc. Where should I start?

#1 the golden tinge from the sunlight against the blue sky makes this image that bit more special than just a bird in flight
#2 Very interesting, but if you turned it into a pano crop you may find that there would be more of a focus on the birds, and less dead space to detract the attention.
#3 definitely my favourite from this set. I love how you have captured the movement whilst keeping image so sharp, really amazing
#4 my 2nd choice, both emotive and dramatic. Great to see the detail on the young males, this works much better than a silhouette in this case

To see a Honey Badger is always a treat, let alone the rare sight
of seeing one swimming and emerging dripping wet, unfortunately
I only ever got a rear view of this guy.
Sorry Andrew. :(

it's all been said. These are simply stunning. The male lion shot is just brilliant, but so are all the other shots. I can't stop showing anyone that walks past and their reactions are the same: "wow." The colour under the elephants, the quirkiness of the birds, the colour an sharpness of the first shot and the movement in the lion's head all add up to four fantastic images.
Once more... wow.
