Having a lot of fun playing with my new Canon 50mm 1.2L.
I took these of the old CSR cane-ite production earns in Jacksons Landing, Pyrmont on dusk.

Canon EOS 50D:
0.02 sec (1/50) f/1.8 50 mm ISO Speed: 200
Image

0.008 sec (1/125) f/1.6 50 mm ISO Speed: 400

Interesting textures there Elver. The limited DOF really ensures you look at the subject at hand, you don't even realise the blue must be Sydney Harbour

Nice pics Gary

The DOF combines well with the colours - nice effect

Looks like you get some serious bokeh with this lens. Very contrasty and colourful.

I do wander why the OOF light is not round?

A number of well known wedding chaps seem to relish using this lens. I have never tried it but it seems like fun.
